Welcome to our blog

Welcome to the official blog of the Canadian Angus Association! Every Friday (or more often, depending on how much we have to say) one of our staff members will add a post about the latest happenings with the Canadian Angus Association.

A number of staff enjoyed some vacation in December. We're all back in the office, have put away the Christmas decorations, eaten all the treats, and are hard at work.

Commercial fieldman Brian Good is currently in Ontario at the Ontario Cattle Feeders convention. CEO Doug Fee will be in Manitoba this weekend for the Manitoba Angus Association annual meeting. Doug will also be at the rescheduled Alberta Angus Association annual meeting on January 17. Assistant General Manager Michael Latimer will attend the Saskatchewan Angus Association annual general meeting on January 23. We encourage all members to make the most of their membership by attending their provincial annual meeting and making their voice heard.

On Wednesday, January 13, the office will be closed until 1:00 p.m. to allow for a staff training and development session. We appreciate your patience and understanding of this closure.

We hope that your calving is off to a good start and that you're not too sleep deprived yet.
